It's been so long since I've really had time or inspiration to draw anything. I remember the times when I was drawing something almost everyday, and being inspired to write even the most trivial of poetry. Where does the muse fly?
I bet my muse is like the Muse from Dogma - cute, quirky, with a witty sense of right and wrong. Not to mention an awesome stripper.
Anyways, if I could find something I'd want to draw, I'd do it. I have my internets and scanner back, so it wouldn't be a problem to share my art with the world. It's just that darn inspiration that's eluding me!!!

Anyways, a tiny update in the life of -hired- me. Amazing Jake's is alright, but I think some of the employees are just...I don't know. Maybe I have nothing to say since I've barely started there. Maybe I'm so used to being in a leadership role that I'm not used to being someone's grunt, or being surrounded by other grunts. Oh well.
With my next check, it's already spent DX a part of it is going to car insurance and the rest to my part of the rent for May. I have no idea what'll become of my cell phone bill, but oh well. I also still need to buy my perscription for next month!! GAHHH!

Is there anymore news to report? I've started my final assignment in my Professional Writing class and it is looking pretty snazy alright. I'm pretty sure I just bombed on a bunch of points for this class...let's see...
Oh yea...about fifty to be exact...
But I still have a B!
(It's hard to flunk at DeVry).

Love to my children of the night
<3

Scratching The Surface

It's official - I'm 19! So far it's been...

Katy Perry - Hot n Cold
Aerosmith - Pink
Red Jump Suit Apperatus - Face Down
Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love
Deftones - Bored, Minerva
Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane, So Cold
System of a Down - She's Like Heroin, Violent Pornography

Anyways... since my last post in January, lot of stuff has happened - kinda.
Still looking for job, but I've got some hopefuls, including Hollywood Video and Macy's. I'd die to work at Hollywood Video - to be surrounded by movies all day? YES PAH-REASE! Then again, I just had to resubmit my application so who knows. But cross your toes for me.

In other news, G and I are good - we might have to move back into our respective mother's homes, but that would only be temporary (I would hope) but I think that if we can both get jobs within the month, and when we sign the lease again, if they give us April for free (like last year) then we can build up again and be good. It's not like we have horrible bills or anything. I've got my half of rent (355/month), my car insurance* (110/month), and my cell phone (~80/month). I'm not paying my student loans til 6 months after graduation and I'm getting a nice amount back from the federal government so I think I'll be good. I think.

(*I had to replace my car's windshield recently! But now my car is pretty bad ass (and 100% legal) so... <3)

My birthday (aka creaking bones syndrom) is coming up. Woo? I don't know - I think if someone hadn't pointed out my birthday was coming up, I probably wouldn't have even remembered it. I can just imagine myself going "March 8th? Oh...it's my birthday today. Huh. Babe, can you pass the *insert here*?"
It's kind of sad, really. But this year I think will be a good one since I'll probably get some of my friends to come over and I do plan on having a good time. Today my friend Caitlin plans on taking me out to lunch for my birthday since she can't make it to the actual 'party' due to work.

God I'm bored. I need a job. Please.

Loves, my children~

Busy Busy Busy!

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294311252778851618" style="FLOAT: right; Mervyn's is going out of business so all their products are 40-60% off. I saved $24 on a $60 hoodie which will keep me warm, cuddly, and bad ass looking for years.
But about the TV...

^ This is the TV by the way ^

Sears is having a special on their TVs and I found the perfect one for $429.99. After alot of debating, and almost signing up for a Sears credit card, I finally bought the TV for cash and am picking it up later this week ^ ^ I'm so happy - Glenn agreed to hide it at his place and install it on Christmas Eve. He's so... I can't even describe how awesome he truly is, to me and to anybody.

It's kind of funny, but something a friend of mine said to me made me panic for a minute. We were talking about clothes and the conversation unrolled like this:
Ally: All women deserve at least one bra that makes them sexy, at least one good bra!
Me: Yeah *I'm driving while all this is happening by the way*
Ally: Same with guys...all guys need an Armani suit.
Me: ...now you're gonna have me imagining Glenn in a suit all day and you'll have a zombie with you at the mall.
Ally: Won't you be seeing him in a suit soon anyways?
Me: ...whaaaa...?
Ally: You guys are gonna get married, right?

WHOA. Hold the phones, shut the door, and kill the cat. No, don't kill the kitty, but just wait a second. I'm young and just staritng my life, so marriage is not in my plans right now. Jesus that scared me.

(Jesus: I'm sorry my child.)

Anyways...I guess the whole point to this post is to say...let the holidays begin.

Damn it.

~Night <3

Colors Don't Change Here

FINALLY FALL IN THE VALLEY OF THE BURNING SUN!

For at least 2 weeks anyways...
Then it's winter...and its cold... and to anyone else who lives out in the desert and who's blood has thinned from the heat, you understand exactly what I am talking about, unlike most of my buddies in MA, who make fun of me for freezing in 70 degree weather.

Halloween's coming up - honestly, I'm almost sick of it already. My store has been ready for Halloween for weeks now, so it's been in my face constantly since August. I'll probably throw on my going-to-be-my-permenant costume if I work that night. If I get out on time and we're interested, Glenn and I will probably check out the haunted house (Shadowland) up the street from his place on Alma School Rd. Looks hokey, but you never know. Plus, Glenn thinks it's funny when I get scared easily >_<

Other then that, school's going well, and I decided to major in Sales and Marketing. I also learned that with my plan of study, I'll be graduating late Spring in 2011 <3 woo hoo!

Also, get ready for the hair lightening experiance that is me ^ ^ I'm coloring my hair so that it will be light blond on the top and dark underneath. I'm going in for my first hair session tomorrow, and will probably keep at it every other week (aka, every week I am paid, after bills of course).

EXTRA DRIBBLE ABOUT MOVIES
Eagle Eye
Saw Eagle Eye yesterday with Glenn. It was alright...nothing extra spectacular, but it did have a good message that we are so vunerable to our own government that we can make ourselves pawns in our own demise. Not to mention that Shia LeBouf is sucessfully making a good name for himself - think about it, going from a Disney slave to a string of awesome/good/soon to premier movies (Disturbia > Transformers > Eagle Eye > Transformers 2).

Nick and Norah's Infinate Playlist
AWESOME. Saw this with my friend Caitlin opening night. Let's just say that this, and Tropic Thunder, are the only movies we've seen together where we've laughed ourselves silly and applauded various parts of the movie. Oh, and we can recite lines of it to each other and still laugh our asses off.
"I love you!" :D
"I love you too!" <3
"I love you so much it's retarded!!" 8F

Turtle Soup Is In High Demand

Mood: Zen
Reading: Speak and Son of a Witch
Eating: Turtle Soup from Ben and Jerry's
Drinking: Diet Dr. Thunder
Playing: Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits

So...I just pretty much had the perfect "weekend" so far, and I say "weekend" because contrary to popular belief, the weekend does not consist of Saturday and Sunday. No. It runs from Tuesday night to Thursday night. End of story, no arguments.

Anyways, I ended up leaving work early on Monday (Labor Day, the most hypocritical day of the year), and booked it to Glenn's place since we had this weekend planned to an S-pipe. We ended up renting 21 and Doomsday, both good movies but the latter was better (one word for all gore fans: cannabalism). Since I worked Tuesday, we parted ways for a while until meeting back at his place for an extremely late, but deliscious dinner and late night trash TV. Wednesday, today, we went to Death Race, which was AWESOME, and I saw that they have another SAW movie coming out. Really, how long is that franchise going to last?

I also had my first class of Summer Session B (second trimester) tonight, which was my College Algebra class, and suprisingly it's pretty easy. It was mostly review for me tonight, going over R.E. and exponents. Tomorrow is my Critical Thinking class. Yay.

If you go check out my DevArt, you'll see I have two new works posted.

Girls are Made of Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice.

Time Trickles So Slow...

How do I describe exactly what has happened to me within the last couple of months since I last posted (14 MONTHS to be exact).

I found someone who loves me for me, and I love him for him very much.

I turned 18 and graduated high school.

I lost some friends, gained some new ones, and found loyalty that confounds me even today.

I gave a piece of me away to someone who gives my life so much light.

I've been promoted to a job position I've been salvating over for the last year.

I went back to being a blonde.

I died a small death. A little...fast paced, and they did try and expand on the jokes, but still...it wasn't the usual first-time-I-watched-the-movie high I usual get.
The Transformers movie preview though...

HOLY CRAP! I NEARLY CAME IN MY PANTS IN THE THEATER! WE HAVE TO SEE IT - ALL OF US - JOE, BRITT, ALLISON, ANYONE ELSE INTERESTED IN A MOVIE ABOUT GIANT ROBOTS FROM SPACE COME TO SAVE/DESTROY EARTH THAT CAN BECOME ANY SORT OF TECHNILOGICAL BEING - *stops short of breathe*

...yeah.

Anyways, I think my allergies are making me a little sick because after the movie, my mom and I went to the mall and my nose started dripping and I was getting sleepy.
I bought my car a new steering wheel cover!!!! It's Emily the Strange's kitty and now I want to go back and get the rest of the accessories for the car now <3
I also bought Wallflower 9, which was good. I need to re-read the series ;XD one of the reasons I like the series is because the auther draws the boys more realistic than most do, and the author is also heavily influenced by Jrock, Jhorror, and all things macabre. And she has a kitty now too <3 yay!

At work today, my sickness got worse and I ended up walking around with tissues in my face all five hours of my shift. But it was okay. I had to work on a shit load of go-backs though so that sucked. I thank Buddha practically that Melanie has been giving me night shifts. Ken would schedule me for a night shift Friday, then a morning hsift Saturday. What the fucking-honky-tonk hell is that? But Melanie is cool, I like her.

I'm cold right now - the AC is on.

Now I'm not - I shifted my tube dress so it's a parka now.

Heh heh heh...

I'm going to start working on my series of Ayumi and Jessica from Living in Wonderland on the white boards I got after school is over. It's too much to think about right now. I have study vigourously for my Geometry final so I can pass and go onto Algebra II next year, and also my American History test is probably the longest single subject test I've ever had. Three days (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), the first and second day having 75 multiple questions each, and the last day an essay about American foreign policy from post WWI to present. WOO! I LOVE HISTORY!

COLD! FUCK! COLD!

I shall now submit to this habitual practice known as sleep.

Good Night

Evolution vs De-evolution

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_AYlP5CTmVyw/RkqeiCBAvjI/AAAAAAAAAAU/ukdaJfxtyf8/s320/A+Moment+Between+Lovers.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5065035038425398834" />
Here's a presketch of Ayumi and Jessica in a tender moment I'm cleaning up in my photoshop class at the moment.

Well, school is ending, what, next week? And I have a few things to finish up for my Photoshop Class that will kill me for sure.

1- why do we have to make a fucking animation of our fucking cartoon when all this class was supposed to be was how you use Photoshop 7?
2- I'm touching up the pre-sketch from yesterday in photoshop and will probably dedicate a day next week to uploading only the best into my scraps through a proxy at school since everything is in my U drive and my computer (this one, not my personal work computer) is fucking retarded.

But yea...a couple of my friends are graduating, but my dearest have DevArt accounts and will keep in contact with me that way...WOn'tYoU?! *threatens to gunpoint* It's all cool here, man.

Starting Friday the 25th, I plan on taking on night shifts at my work during the week so I can earn some extra cash fast before EVIT. I filled out my registration form and my mom paid the 20 dollars tuition, so I'm good to go. She just needs to mail it from her work in Phoenix.
I love my mom.
But yea, I will be taking 2 sessions of EVIT and working all summer this year and MAYBE even go to the gym at least twice a week to work out and run around so I can start to get into some shape.

Good Night, my Children, Good Night

Mutterings in the Dark

This is all for fun. But the money should be good this week, considering I worked over 14 hours, and need to pay my EVIT fees before the 25th. I plan on taking two sessions (ten weeks) of Photo Imaging classes (5 hours a class) over the summer and end up with two full credits. It's basically (for me) a chance to expand my knowledge of Photoshop, digital photography, darkroom experiments, and work with models (basically friends from school). And considering I took the class last summer, passed, and loved it? Spending $20 on it is cake. Strawberry flavoured with the color scheme of my birthday cake with safety pins in it cake, that is. Yummy.

At about 4 I ended up at Red Mountain to witness my agonizingly worked over costume designs grace the bodies of the actors in Scapino!. NOT HALF BAD! It was actually pretty provocitave for a high school show, but hey! It's Arizona! We can pretty much do whatever the hell we want and STILL be able to get up at dawn to work and go to school. That includes hookers and human canvases, like dear Joe, who has put some of my work in his gallery which I shall show you...now...

...

Joe's Title: The Wasted Enchantress
My Alternative Title: Seductive Sea Nymph

Title: Love Machine

I think that shall be all for tonight, considering it's 11:53 PM this side of the universe.

Goodnight.

Landing - Retrospect

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_AYlP5CTmVyw/RkP-kwzF0OI/AAAAAAAAAAM/8NN2490o4Vw/s320/Mad+Hat+blogger.PNG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5063170313622507746" />
Here's something I drew while I was bored in Geometry today. It's a character sketch of Ayumi (Mad Hat) from my friend Britt's story, Living in Wonderland. Personally, I love this character! I've always identified myself more as the Mad Hatter than any other character and actually was an EGA version of him for Halloween this year. I'll try and and get a photo from Britt or Allison soon.

It's sad that when you fall asleep for two hours and you wake up hot and near death practically, even with the AC and fan on. Oh well.

I broke up with Joe in a matter of three hours after asking him out. I'm thinking now I probably had to get it all ut of my system before he graduated. I feel a little lighter now - maybe these wings haven't molted after all.

School's going good. I had a bit of a break down this morning in Theatre though - anxiety from Scapino! and work clashing have been attacking my nerves like hell. I pretty much hid in the costume shop for the majority of class, but came out and apologized to Mr. J for being a hermit. He said it was all good, and that he had the same kind of attacks when he was in college, and more than likely high school was no differant. That made me feel better.

And the fact I took my corset off during class cause I couldn't breathe.

I WON THE ELECTIONS FOR PRESIDENT IN ANIME CLUB!!!!!!!

Well, I need to go and sleep or something. I'm not sure.

One last thing before I go; if you haven't checked out the Dresden Dolls website of even heard of them at all, go check them out! Their homepage link will be in my top five sites later tonight. I love their song 'colorblind'.

The night is still young, my children.

Revelations - Experimental Arts

I've done some "soul searching" via taking a cold shower with the AC on, and I think I've realize a few things.

First, I love to draw on people free hand. And completely out of my own inspiration, not jus someone's idea of what they want. It made me think - I know people wouldn't really be interested in letting me draw on them for a career, but what about manequinnes (sp?)? I only wish I knew where to find some though...

Also, I plan on creating a large story board that will depict my creation of the human body and will be titled "How to Build a Human". I'm going to start presketches this weekend and then start the big work when school gets out. I'm just scared of how big it's actually going to get.

---

David is letting me borrow his copy of Death Note the movie. I watched pretty much up to the part when L begins to taunt Light into making a mistake of revealing some vital clues as to how he commits his "murders". Personally, I side with Light - the murderers of this world are going unpunished everyday and our society just becomes sicker and sicker with the cancers of the new wonders borne into our world. It's sad to see little girls dressing as hookers and to hear that teenagers my age are having issues that should have hit them later in life.

In other words, I'm loving the movie. I feel asleep though because crying this afetrnoon made me exhausted.

---

My friend Allison and I have been talking about getting more into EGA and EGL and it's times like these I wish I didn't have the gender I was assigned. I'd love to come to school in EGA everyday and be a polite gentleman and be a seductive whisper on the lips of courtly ladies. But nope. Fucking X chromosomes. Oh well.
I wish I had a Lolita dress pattern - I'd love to make at least one dress once. But for now, I will just search for an appropriate hat to go with my EGA male costume.

---

I think I want one of my best friends to be my boyfriend. Britt already knows about this issue. I'm just scared. I know he's attracted to me and would treat me right and hell, he's pretty much my cup of tea - he lets me draw on him, is a bit of pervert (which I don't mind), respects me, has his intelligent moments, can be there for me when I need him, is older than me, taller than me, and looks Asian (though he's not). But I'm afraid that if I tried to change him, he might change for the worse, and I'd lose a dear friend.
I think the only changes I'd even ask him to make would be to wear a belt, use Phoenix Axe body wash and spray (I LOVE THAT SMELL - TIS THE SMELL OF RPG's FEATURING BISHIES!), and not make literal shit jokes around me (I can't stand people who joke about actual crap, it's gross and BLEHHH!).
If I asked him to change...would I have to change as well...? And in what ways?

If you could change one thing about me, what would it be?

---

I want a ball jointed doll *_* Pretty.
I found her again! http://www.pullipstyle.com/nomado.htm

Daily Events - Blossoming?

I guess it's every woman's bane that her hormones and immune system seem to backstab her at the last moment. I was having a cheerful day today, being kind to pretty much everyone, finishing school works, understanding everything in my math class for once. But now, Scapino! is bugging the bloody hell out of me. Ricky, a lead actor, who is technically on costume crew, acts as if he is the one and only one who understands what is going on with the costumes.
Hell no.
I designed those costumes. I put everything I am worth into this project and he seems to think that this is merely a passing fancy of mine - like a paper airplane caught in the wind, only to land peacefully in the middle of the highway. Maybe I am a bit too harsh on him though - he is a sophmore, and this is probably his first time working with costumes outside of just wearing them for a few hours. What ever.

My mother stayed home today to start applying for new jobs. Her current work at a private institution didn't renew her contract, so now she is on the hunt again. I'm proud of her to be getting back off the ground so quickly - I love my mom, seriously.
But sometimes she can be such a pain when I'm the one driving the car. I'm still learing how to drive and earning what minutes I can (I need about 1500 minutes before I can apply for my licsense) but she still seems to think that I'm still driving around the parking lot of the library at 7 AM in the morning and acting as if we were in England. It can be pretty painful to not hear her say anything except when I make a mistake.

But...since she did stay home today, I convince her to let me drive us about to go to the mall and to the library. I don't mind being alone when she is at work in the afternoons. It's my free time to chill out from school and put on a happy face somewhere deep inside. But when she's home...and I have just come home from a demanding day at school...it can be messy. However, we did go to the mall since I forgot that this Sunday is Mother's Day. I bought her an assorted box of Jelly Belly jelly beans at Fuzzywigs - I hope she likes it. I spotted the box a few months ago and it was a master plan all set from there. But...considering I was at the mall in possession of my ATM card and Hot Topic was just up the stairs...I ended up buying not only my mother's gift, but a cute early fifties style plaid dress and later Godchild vol. 1 in Borders Books.
I'll get some photos of myself in the dress at a later time.

But for now, here's a few photos of my work with Lolita fashion for fun <3

"Alice and Hatter Rabbit"

Taken at Phoenix Comi-Con 2007 Lolita Tea Party
Posted (in full view) at http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/49035016/

"Pride and Envy"

Taken at Phoenix Comi-Con 2007 Lolita Tea Party
Posted (in full view) at http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/49035638/

Both photos were shot by yours truely and are free for use - please just credit me by using either my blogsite or DeviantArt site (http://whoandwhat.deviantart.com).
All models were willing to be photographed and I hope to see them all again one day <3

I think that should be all for tonight. I'm tired and want to dream of Cain (Godchild).

Goodnight, Blossoms

Introduction - Birth

Well, it seems I've created a new blog for myself - tada!

My name is Beth, I was born in a small town you may know as Salem, MA, and am currently living in the desert of the United States of America. I live with my mother and two cats (both annoying and taking after me in the random apartment) and have a close group of friends I'd sacrafice almost anything. I still want my hands.

Currently my love life is empty, but somethings just are so. I do have one true love and that is Niikura Kaoru of Dir en Grey. I've loved him since 2005 and the firey flames of passion are still roaring.

My hobbies are photography, poetry, experimental art, writing, and reading. I love manga and anime and have been leaning towards the shojo side of the manga scale. Hmmm...
My favorite mangas are Backstage Prince, NANA, Model, BLEACH, and Death Note.
I also enjoy cosplay and have participated in the annual Phoenix Comi-Con Convention every year to date. In January 2008, you'll find me in a few differant groups, and more than likely see the progress of some cosplays on this blog.

I still attend high school and am proud to say I am maintaining a 3.6 GPA, am above average in all my classes, and actually like attending school. My favorite classes are Introduction to Computer Arts, American History 1900 - Present, and Theatre II - Intro to Stagecraft. I am currently the head costume designer for the one act Scapino! in my school's theatre arts department and hope to be choosen to be assistent stage manager for the show.
In addition, I shall be running for President for my school's Anime Club for the 2007 - 2008 year. I'm going to try and make it the best year ever since last year and this year pretty much...well...were teh suck. But I promise to make it all better.

Since it's 9:27 on this side of the globe, I think I'll retire.

Goodnight Everyone
