Early Bird Shopping

Lotta good deals at the local mall today...

I bought my mother a new TV at Sears, Glenn his earrings he's been wanting from Spencers, and myself a bad ass hoodie from Mervyn's. Mervyn's is going out of business so all their products are 40-60% off. I saved $24 on a $60 hoodie which will keep me warm, cuddly, and bad ass looking for years.
But about the TV...

^ This is the TV by the way ^

Sears is having a special on their TVs and I found the perfect one for $429.99. After alot of debating, and almost signing up for a Sears credit card, I finally bought the TV for cash and am picking it up later this week ^ ^ I'm so happy - Glenn agreed to hide it at his place and install it on Christmas Eve. He's so... I can't even describe how awesome he truly is, to me and to anybody.

It's kind of funny, but something a friend of mine said to me made me panic for a minute. We were talking about clothes and the conversation unrolled like this:
Ally: All women deserve at least one bra that makes them sexy, at least one good bra!
Me: Yeah *I'm driving while all this is happening by the way*
Ally: Same with guys...all guys need an Armani suit.
Me: ...now you're gonna have me imagining Glenn in a suit all day and you'll have a zombie with you at the mall.
Ally: Won't you be seeing him in a suit soon anyways?
Me: ...whaaaa...?
Ally: You guys are gonna get married, right?

WHOA. Hold the phones, shut the door, and kill the cat. No, don't kill the kitty, but just wait a second. I'm young and just staritng my life, so marriage is not in my plans right now. Jesus that scared me.

(Jesus: I'm sorry my child.)

Anyways...I guess the whole point to this post is to say...let the holidays begin.

Damn it.

Colors Don't Change Here

FINALLY FALL IN THE VALLEY OF THE BURNING SUN!

For at least 2 weeks anyways...
Then it's winter...and its cold... and to anyone else who lives out in the desert and who's blood has thinned from the heat, you understand exactly what I am talking about, unlike most of my buddies in MA, who make fun of me for freezing in 70 degree weather.

Halloween's coming up - honestly, I'm almost sick of it already. My store has been ready for Halloween for weeks now, so it's been in my face constantly since August. I'll probably throw on my going-to-be-my-permenant costume if I work that night. If I get out on time and we're interested, Glenn and I will probably check out the haunted house (Shadowland) up the street from his place on Alma School Rd. Looks hokey, but you never know. Plus, Glenn thinks it's funny when I get scared easily >_<

Other then that, school's going well, and I decided to major in Sales and Marketing. I also learned that with my plan of study, I'll be graduating late Spring in 2011 <3 woo hoo!

Also, get ready for the hair lightening experiance that is me ^ ^ I'm coloring my hair so that it will be light blond on the top and dark underneath. I'm going in for my first hair session tomorrow, and will probably keep at it every other week (aka, every week I am paid, after bills of course).

EXTRA DRIBBLE ABOUT MOVIES
Eagle Eye
Saw Eagle Eye yesterday with Glenn. It was alright...nothing extra spectacular, but it did have a good message that we are so vunerable to our own government that we can make ourselves pawns in our own demise. Not to mention that Shia LeBouf is sucessfully making a good name for himself - think about it, going from a Disney slave to a string of awesome/good/soon to premier movies (Disturbia > Transformers > Eagle Eye > Transformers 2).

Nick and Norah's Infinate Playlist
AWESOME. Saw this with my friend Caitlin opening night. Let's just say that this, and Tropic Thunder, are the only movies we've seen together where we've laughed ourselves silly and applauded various parts of the movie. Oh, and we can recite lines of it to each other and still laugh our asses off.
"I love you!" :D
"I love you too!" <3
"I love you so much it's retarded!!" 8F

Turtle Soup Is In High Demand

Mood: Zen
Reading: Speak and Son of a Witch
Eating: Turtle Soup from Ben and Jerry's
Drinking: Diet Dr. Thunder
Playing: Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits

So...I just pretty much had the perfect "weekend" so far, and I say "weekend" because contrary to popular belief, the weekend does not consist of Saturday and Sunday. No. It runs from Tuesday night to Thursday night. End of story, no arguments.

Anyways, I ended up leaving work early on Monday (Labor Day, the most hypocritical day of the year), and booked it to Glenn's place since we had this weekend planned to an S-pipe. We ended up renting 21 and Doomsday, both good movies but the latter was better (one word for all gore fans: cannabalism). Since I worked Tuesday, we parted ways for a while until meeting back at his place for an extremely late, but deliscious dinner and late night trash TV. Wednesday, today, we went to Death Race, which was AWESOME, and I saw that they have another SAW movie coming out. Really, how long is that franchise going to last?

I also had my first class of Summer Session B (second trimester) tonight, which was my College Algebra class, and suprisingly it's pretty easy. It was mostly review for me tonight, going over R.E. and exponents. Tomorrow is my Critical Thinking class. Yay.

If you go check out my DevArt, you'll see I have two new works posted.

Girls are Made of Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice.

Time Trickles So Slow...

How do I describe exactly what has happened to me within the last couple of months since I last posted (14 MONTHS to be exact).

I found someone who loves me for me, and I love him for him very much.

I turned 18 and graduated high school.

I lost some friends, gained some new ones, and found loyalty that confounds me even today.

I gave a piece of me away to someone who gives my life so much light.

I've been promoted to a job position I've been salvating over for the last year.

I went back to being a blonde.

I died a small death. Then was resurrected.

I saw beauty in the most pure form on this earth; my new fourth cousin, baby Alabama.

I ate a Steak Fajita (granted that was just a moment ago).

In short... I've had a hell of a year and two months so far.
And I'm betting 50 google it gets even better <3

Love,
Me
